Geri Ruane, LMT, Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist and Owner of Two Roads Massage Therapy LLC has an area of expertise that she wants to share with the Austin community: Two Roads 4 Kids, an evidence-based private practice, where she offers pediatric massage therapy to children and young adults (18 years of age and younger).
Ruane has received nearly 85 hours of advanced training in pediatric massage therapy, as well as in pediatric oncology massage therapy, from excellent educators and leaders in the pediatric massage therapy field. Each instructor has helped Ruane increase her knowledge and hone her techniques so that she can give a safe and effective pediatric massage.
She has also attended conferences and networks with other healthcare practitioners and support groups in the Austin area as well as throughout the country.
Geri says, "Being a teacher for twenty-five years and working with children, young adults and parents, it feels natural to be with kids again! I am excited to be able to offer this specialized service to the Austin community."

Oncology Massage Alliance (OMA) - OMA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; I am the Director of Operations as well as one of its co-founders.
OMA's Mission is to reduce stress, promote healing, and provide emotional support for cancer patients (children and adults) in infusion rooms, as well as increase public awareness of the benefits of oncology massage therapy and pediatric oncology massage therapy.
I volunteer with OMA where we offer complimentary hand and foot massages to people receiving chemotherapy and other types of infusions at infusion centers in Central Texas along with providing chair massages to caregivers and medical staff. http://www.oncologymassagealliance.org
